Apple Art Espalier, founded in 1997, grew out of our love for the elegant art of espalier and for fruit trees. The rate at which our business has grown over a few short years is proof of what we have long believed: people who love beautiful gardens love espaliers!

We are located in lovely Sonoma County, California, in the heart of wine country. Our local customer base is strong and loyal, and many of our trees are perfectly suited for our Northern California climate.

In addition to being the primary Northern California source for espaliered trees, we have become a local resource for information about espalier. We have given talks and pruning demonstrations at San Francisco's Strybing Arboretum, local harvest festivals and garden clubs, and are also available locally for garden consultations.

Sean McNeil

has worked with fruit trees and espaliers for the past 12 years. He has a B.S. in Botany from the University of California at Davis, and a Master's in Plant Ecology from Sonoma State University. He has also worked with roses, on an organic farm, and as a landscaper.
